The Apple Orchard

We went to cute little apple orchard this weekend and picked our own apples. The kids always love going and they seem to eat the apples better when they pick the them themselves!

The kids ate as we walked and Halle would take a bite from a new apple every time she reached into her basket! The lady who weighs the apples was laughing when she saw all the apples with bites out of them.

I love to make applesauce after going to the orchard.. which I haven't yet. But it always makes your house smell so good, and I love it nice and warm! Mixing all the different types of apples makes the best applesauce too! You don't even have to add sugar since the apples are sweet enough! Just a little cinnamon or apple pie seasoning makes it perfect! Yum! :)

Your kids are getting so big--we haven't seen them in such a long time.

I just did a bunch of applesauce last week. Yummy! We'll probably do some more here too.
