A Mother's Perfect Day

So the other day Kamiah didn't have school and we went to the store.  The kids were great and lots of people made comments on how good they were (don't ya just love hearing that?!)  We get out to the van and Kamiah just starts helping me load all the groceries into the van!  It was awesome!  We get home and have lunch before putting all the stuff away.  Afterward, Kamiah just went again and started putting everything where it goes and evidently putting away groceries is contageous because suddenly before I even started (I was putting Jameson down for a nap) all three kids were helping put everything away!  Halle was emptying instant oatmeal packets into our container we use, Wesley was hauling down sacks to put away cans in the storage room and Kamiah was down there putting things away.  Then Halle says," Mom we need to take out the garbage!"  So, I take it out and come back in and she's re-sacking the garbage can!  I couldn't believe my eyes!!  Was I in the right house?  This was amazing!  All the kids (minus Jameson) were working and helping and I didn't even ask them to, they just wanted to!  The kids had a great day and really didn't argue much (love that!)  I was just amazed!  It made me feel like just maybe I wasn't doing too bad after all!  :)
