Big Day!

So Friday was Kamiah's awards assembly at school and Wesley's preschool graduation (sniff, sniff). I got this wild idea after looking at this the other day that, hey I should sew some clothes for the kids for their big days! Crazy I know! Wesley's school had said kids could wear red, white, and blue to match the decor and cake if they wanted so we went to a local fabric store that is changing locations and is clearancing everything out.  So Wednesday we picked out some fabric, took it home, and that night and Thursday I made Wesley some pants and Kamiah and Halle skirts.  I got Kamiah's skirt idea from an Old Navy skirt I saw at the store, this:

Wesley's pants I just used some of his pj pants as an example and drew patterns on poster board.

 They sang a good bye song, and Mrs. Hansen got a little emotional.  She does so much and her husband is over seas for the army, has been all school year!  I don't know how she does it!  But she's amazing and I know Wesley will miss her!
