Sweet, Sassy, and Funny

Sweet:
Last week the kids asked if they could build a fort and sleep in it Friday night, I told them if they did their chores they could.  Kamiah was the only one who did (enough) so I told her I would sleep in it with her.  I brought my scriptures with me (since that's when I always tend to read them) and we read together.  Then Sunday night she asked me to read with her again and she said that she started by herself the night before!  (We read as a family, but none of the kids really do on their on yet.)  What a sweet girl, we love our Kamiah girl!

Sassy:
This last weekend Jameson finally figured out how to climb onto the table at our house. (I new it was coming soon!)  See our chairs are a little harder to climb onto than some, we don't have any bars connecting around the legs, just straight legs down from the seat.  Anyway, he got the pitcher of water (when no one was paying attention) and was pouring it onto the floor (definitely better then some drinks or things that could be poured, like when Halle got into the honey a couple years ago!)  I found him, removed the pitcher from his hand, and set him down.  Later I came in, only to find him pouring it on the floor again and then trying to splash in it like a puddle!  Oh, Jameson! :)

Funny:
We've had sickness at our house last night and today (vomiting and diarrhea).  Tonight after going to bed Wesley come back out and said, I think my stomach doesn't feel good.  "Okay, okay, why don't you sleep on the couch" we said.  (Kind of a tradition at our house I suppose -sick, sleep on a blanket covered couch).  Anyway, he then said he needed to go to the bathroom.  Scott followed him thinking, "uh-oh, he's gonna be sick!"  So he looked in and asked, "do you need any help?"  With cocked eyebrow and an, "are you crazy" expression he replied, "I don't think I'll ever need help!  Ah, funny, funny!  I thought that was a pretty good reply!

Oh yeah a clever moment too:
Also tonight (right after using the bathroom(above)) Wesley wanted to wash his hands, but the soap bottle first needed to be refilled.  Wesley got out the refill bottle, set it on the floor.  Grabbed the soap bottle, set it also on the floor.  Then I came into find him with the pump from the soap bottle in the refill bottle, pumping the refill into the soap bottle (did you follow that?) :) I thought, "Wow!  Clever.  I wouldn't have thought of that... you must have your daddy's engineer brain!"
