Guess Who Got Baptized??!

Kamiah had her 8th birthday on August 13th!  (I know I'm a little slow!)  Grandma and Grandpa Jones came from MT and spent some time with us the week before, so they could be here for the baptism.  We sure had fun with them here!  In the words of Scott, "It's always sad to see them go, I wish they could stay longer!"

Kamiah opened a couple presents the night before, just because.  : )

Next Morning: Scott's sister Lisa made her a bracelet, she's so thoughtful!  : )

Scriptures!  She loves them, and has been reading every night, what a good example!

Before the baptism

She was the only one baptized so she got to choose everything.  Grandma Jones said the opening prayer, Grandma Evans gave a talk on baptism.  Scott baptized and confirmed her. Grandpa Jones gave a talk on the Holy Ghost, and Grandpa Evans gave the closing prayer and conducted and Aunt Mindy played the piano.  Thanks everyone for helping make her day special!

Jameson went and sat on Grandma's lap.  Sometimes he's bashful, and sometimes he's cuddly.

So one day Jameson kept getting out the birthday candles again and again, and when we wanted them for Kamiah's pie (she wanted cherry pie, she's not a huge cake fan.  I guess I wasn't either as a kid), but we couldn't find the candles so we had to use matches...and we had to sing real fast!

We love you Kamiah, you're great big sister, loving and kind.  Always thinking of your brother's and sister!
