Young Love..Already??

Wesley just started kindergarten.  He's already come home with some interesting things he's learned and whatnot, but tonight at dinner he announced he has a girlfriend--a what?!  Her name is Belle.  I asked what he does at recess and he said, "Sometimes, I play with my friend Brandon, and sometimes I play with Belle.  When I play with Belle, I do whatever she wants to do.  And then we race to get in line when recess is over." 

This is so soon, can I please have at least a month of school before girlfriends??

Kamiah was teasing at dinner, (see, they have assigned seats on the bus) and Kamiah was saying, "I know why you want to sit on the outside seat, because you want to sit closer to Belle!"  As Wesley smiles broadly and nods his head!  (He's not even denying it.  I thought that's what you were supposed to do-deny it-especially at that age!  This is definitely a first at our house!)
